oh wow!!!!! the weekend was qt fun! i went to this place called kodaikanal on our rest day which is sunday. and.... we too public transport there!!!! we first had to take a 45 min bus to pallani which we had to stand and we woke up at like 430 to cath it lah. so was like dying den frm there we took the kodai bus! we got seats (thank goodness cos its 3+ hrs long) so it wasnt so bad. but SUPER crowded and very jolty. kodai was qt nice1 its a "hill resort" which is like 8000 ft above sea level. not qt bukit timah. its like walking in the sky!! cos all the clouds are below us. we went horse riding and boating! but i tell u. indian guys are super horny lah!!!! everywhere we went they kept like trying to take fotos of us and trying to trck us into aking foto with them, and catcalling us!!!! and this guy was even like "i love you! let me kiss you!" we almost fainted. thot it was bad till we met our new oommate, mahtub hu almost got raped on the train!!!!so scary lah!!!! haha. good thing we dun look asindian as she does. cos shes like of iranian heritage so got bollywood look. yah. oh this week we were at the operating theatre and the nurses there are SO NICE! and we are finally useful, helping to make bandages and fold gauze and fold and pack linin and things. seriously, i would never want to undergo surgery here. the packs hey use are super brown and dirty looking and like. they use local anesthesia for ligation and the woman was like hissing lah. me and char were horrified to the max ok. its abit tirin being arnd pple all he time tho so i went for a walk last night to be alone for a while and it felt really good! was back to my cheerful self today :) oh yah. pray for charmaine (my fren who is with me) because she got flu and had dihorrea yst which is really qt terrible. she is better today but yah still pray k! :) am starting to miss home a little, but not much lah haha. whih is good i guess. we were telling the nurses here abt food in singapore and i REALLY miss the food ok. everyday we have dahl and rice which was ok at first but getting boring. but cannot complain lah. pple who come to the hospital soemimes dun even have any food to eat. we sawe a man yst wih maggots in his foot!!!! super gross but yet intruiging haha. india is really a place with so much potential but yet its like stuck in its third world status which is qt sad. yah anyway i wanna see an amputation! on thurs going to cut hair with dr baby who looks chinese! rocks :) went nurses hostel today and its qt nice and the nurses in the ot rock lah. so nice haha. yups. going for more rice and dahl now :s oh yah we got a new roommate called mahtub. shes aussie and qt nice! and there is a occuationaly therapist here too called tara.and of cos naoko! who is so cute and happy haha. so maybe aussies and japs arent so bad after all.we were telling the nurses all abt sinaore today. felt so patriotic haha. they were all like super impressed and say they wanna come too! haha. we are stealing hier nurses :p but yah. compared to india, singapore does sound liek paradise. so dont complain ok! haha.
